The Peanut - Kansas City: Your Go-To Spot for Delicious Wings and Family-Friendly Dining

The Peanut is our go-to Saturday or Sunday morning spot! Pretty sure they start serving alcohol at 10am. I think Breakfast is available until 2. Standing order: breakfast burrito, in a bowl (no tortilla), use tots vs breakfast potatoes. Side of sausage links (we cut it up and add it to the bowls), extra sausage gravy on the side. Buffalo Chicken Wrap, tots, side of Buffalo, side of ranch. This visit someone dining with us ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. HUGE! He loved it! The Chiefs game is always on during Football season. People are nice, food is fresh, and it has an overall cool, easy vibe. Love the Peanut!

Heard they have the best wings so jumped on the chance to finally taste them. I thought it was going to be a bar but it has more of a family diner feel. Cocktails were good & the food was fabulous great little date night Wings did not disappoint

The Peanut Restaurant has always been a go to for me. Very reliable and consistent. Whether friends or family coming to town or hanging out watching sporting events. The food is above average for a neighborhood bar. The wings are second to none and the blue cheese dip is the best in town. I strongly recommend.

By far the largest chicken wings I’ve had in a restaurant. The buffalo sauce on the wings is delicious perfect balance in taste and heat, no too spicy. The BBQ sliders were very tasty the brisket was smoky and tender with just enough sauce to keep it from being messy. My husband tried the cheese fries, he said they were delicious. I’m a repeat offender lol.

The best place in KC for burgers & fries. Large portions and a family friendly atmosphere, with different sports on year round & great food. Very clean, very attentive staff & an all-around great experience, consistently. Highly recommend.

Outstanding! Don't let the name fool you, it's well worth the visit! Lunch, dinner, casual drinks or small beer togethers..... this is the place for you! The food is great, especially the Buffalo Wings! The food was the highlight of the visit after only hearing how tasty the food was! It exceeded our expectations and moved us into the "frequent flyers" category! The drinks and food were well worth the price during checkout! You won't be disappointed as the service is top notch..... thank you for a wonderful afternoon family gathering!

I googled the Peanut and saw a location downtown drove there but had difficulty finding parking. Decided to drive to State Line which had a lot of parking. Visited twice in a few days. Saturday went at 11 am and went back Tuesday and no issues with parking. The food tasted so good. I ordered chicken nachos both times and I was very satisfied. The serving size was very large. Great atmosphere. Loved that they had televisions everywhere. The service was the best, especially in today's world. The BEST Waitresses Visited the women's restroom and it was very clean. Definitely will be visiting again. Again Great Atmosphere!!!!

I ordered chicken cilantro tacos and strawberry lemonaid! The service was fast and friendly! Great atmosphere !The food was excellent! The cheeseburgers are good too!
